The Anecdotes of Life

The Darkness

A boy and his father are walking through a large forest. To cross to the other side, they have to pass through a long dark tunnel. They boy hesitates at the entrance. "Father, how can I walk in there when it is so dark? I will not see where I am going. We have neither candles nor torches to light our way" say the boy. The father calmly tells his son "Once inside, close your eyes for several minutes to give them a chance to get accustomed to the dark. When you open again, I assure you that you will be able to see the way through the tunnel". The boy does whay his father told him. After closing his eyes for sometime, he is able to see inside the tunnel. Though it is very dark, he and his father are able to cross safely to the other side. "Son, if you do not have anything with which to light the darkness, use darkness to see in the dark" the father tells him. Friends, faith is the darkness. Sometimes we thought we're not able to go through the trials of our life. But if God bring us to that, He will make sure we will go through it..just keep faith.
The Forgiveness
One day, 2 warriors names Taitoki and Saisoki fought a duel. Both skilled swordsmen, each one inflicted a deep wound on the other. They decided to parts a way and let their conflict remain unresolved. Many-many years after the duel, their wounds remained fresh. Baffled and concerned, Taitoki and Saisoki went to Maoki the Wise to ask about their highly unusual wounds. They told Maoki they have tried the best medicines and balms all throughout these years but the wounds are fresh and unhealed. The Maoki told them the reason why the wounds is still unhealed, it is because neither both of them has forgive each other.
Yes..if we keep wonder why the hurts, fear and painful still with us after so many years then this is the answer. We are not ready to forgive others and the hurts are not ready to go. Forgiving is really difficult to do. For these we need strength to do..then why not just forget and forgive each other. And ask God to fill our hearts with His Unconditional love.

Sabah Local Cultures (The Worlds -1st)

Hey friends, I found one interesting book (actually I bought it 2years ago..hahhaha) with a title 'Comparisons: Sabah Local Cultures & The Bible' which to me good for us to know our own culture and studied it through. This book tells us about Sabah cultures through the eyes of our ancestors. Good for us to know.
Information about local traditional beliefs and practices can lead a person to ponder about the reasons for such cultural habits and to compare and contrast them with the traditional culture of peopless in other parts of the world. Some striking similarities exist between some aspects of traditional culture in Sabah and some of the incidents narrated in the Bible. Sabah, the homeland of many indigenous racial groups, is rich in culture. Though many of the ancients rituals are falling into disuse, it is fortunate that knowledge of a wide variety of traditions is still preserved. I will not go through the comprisons between the Bible and the Sabah Local Cultures but I'll list out some of the beliefs or cultues habits of Sabahan..hehhehehe...
The Sky
We are told in Kadazandusun legend that after kinoingan had made rivers and seas, fish and animals, trees and plants, he perspired. He went to a pool to bathe and noticed that the dirt from his body increased rapidly and he decided to use it to form the sky. EEEwwwww...hehehehe. He completed it with to the size he felt suitable and put it in position over the earth then he arranged the sun, the moon and the stars. This caused dy and night. Murut people believed that if the sky became red, spirits of sickness were moving about in the atmosphere. They remained indoors to avoid contracting any illness that could be caused by such spirits. But I do remember when I was a child, everytime 'hujan panas' my mom will asked us not to go out by saying that 'banyak hantu berkeliaran' and the evil spirits will possess us and make u sick..emmm...think about it..
The Sun
There is legend in Sabah which states that long time ago the sun was much nearer to the earth and one day the man felt that the heat was too great for him to bear. So he took his bow and arrow and shot an arrow to the sun. So the sun moved away from the earth. It went so far away that never again could an arrow fired by man ever reach it. The arrow also disapeared. Wooikk..jangan2 the arrow become the ultraman hahahhaha..as the ultraman come from the sun kan? is it? hehehehehe. Local names for the sun are interesting. In Malay called 'matahari', Kadazandusun called 'tadau' to used for both day/sun and in Murut called 'Orou'.
The Moon
In the past when an eclipse of the moon occured people in Sabah believed that an enormous dragon was tryingnto swallow the moon. All the people would gather in the village and beat gongs and create a great din in order to frighten the dragon away.
The Stars
There is story told in Kuala Penyu area to explain the existence of two of the stars. A very young mother and her baby son lived alone in remote forest area. When the boy was about 8 years old, he wandered away and settled in a place far from his original home. He prospered and became a very handsome young man and then he decided to travel to the area he had come from. His mother was still an attractive woman. They happened to meet but did not recognize each other. They fell in love and married. Later in their conversations the young man told the wife the things that he remembered about his childhood days. From that stories the woman slowly realized that this was her son. Both were shocked and knew that incest was very serious crime. They decided to separate and never to see one another again. They agreed to become two stars, one before the night started and we called it Evening Star and the other one just when the night ended and we called it Morning Star. And ever since Evening Star and Morning Star are never seen together. Huhuuuuu...very sadis and weird hehehhe..I want to be a star to my love and called me the Life Star (bintang kehidupan)..hehehhe.
The Sea
Some of the opinions they have cannot be found in modern geography books..hehehhe. For eaxample, at the bottom of the sea live dragons and other such monsters, it is the movements and activities of these sea-monsters that cause the waves of the sea. Another idea from the past was that at night a lot of lights could be seen in the middle of the sea. This looked like the lights of a town, it was not a town but it was a sea-ghost that had huge body and possessed a large number of arms and hands. Emm..suddenly I remembered a legend of Nyi Roro Kidul Legend from Indonesia which appeared as a beautiful woman and seduced bad guys..hehehehe.
The World
According to Kadazandusun legend Suminindu, the wife of the Kinoingan took a bath and the dirth from her body seemed to multiply. Kinoingan told her to dance on it. As she did so the dirt increased more rapidly and spread out to form the land surface of the world. Later the kinoingan wanted to know which was more extensive the earth or the sky and he sent the large butterfly called Bimbizangan to find out. Bimbizangan told the kinoingan that the earth was bigger so kinoingan asked his wife Sumindu to stamp on the earth to make it smaller. She did and that caused the valleys, hills and mountains that we see today. Wahh..means the kinoingan family was soooooo biggggg....aarrrgghh.. Some Murut believed that there were 7 levels below this world and 7 levels above it. The Murut word for 'eight' is katalu and this world of ours is still known to some as Tana Timbalu and that is the eight levels. All the other levels are inhabited by people like us. Conditions in the levels above our world are generally better. The spirit of the deceased person can go downwards to the seventh level or upwards to the ninth level. If the spirit is going downwards it travels through a whirlpool in a river, if it moves upwards, it rides on whirlwind.
Well..I'll go with you to the 2nd Sabah Local Cultres in a next posts talking about animals, dreams, body, names and etc..as I have to read and understand it first. Hahhaha..interesting especially if you compared to the Bible..

Smart, Sexy and Slimmer

To some people, the need for sleep is viewed as a sign of weakness. It's the new macho-and women especially, are buying into it. But while we're asleep, every system in our body is being fined-tuned, reset, cleaned up and restored to its optimal operating mode by an army of molecular troubleshooters. New things we have learned are being processed, memories are being organised and stored and rhe immuned system is building a new contigent of natural killer cells to fight off battalions of infectious agents. Growth hormone is being produced to repair damaged tissue or build new tissue and to block the corrosive effects of stress.

When we sleep well, we're in peak operating condition. When we dont, we feel groggy and none of our systems are firing on all cylinders. Remind me one thing, why sometimes I feel grumphy and not in a mood in a morning..hehehhe...so below is a useful tools for us to manage or good sleep in order to get a healthy mind and physical which contributing to smart, sexy and slim. Yes..its good and I want to be smart and sexy..hahahhaha..oooppss...!!!

Daily Schedule
Wake up at the same time every day. A good night's sleep actually starts in the morning. Wake up at a different time every day and the clock is out of sync may make us feel groggy and hungover for hours. No wonder when I wake up at 10am or sometimes 11am on weekend my mood is different. Feel lazy to do anything and I end up eating a lot, watch tv till evening times and my brain not functioning well..hahhahaha
Give ourself an hour right before bed. We need it to wind down and make a transition from the person who can do everything to the person who can sleep. Like me, I spend 1/2 hour only, writing my diary to know what is my emotion today and reflecting what I've done for a day..hehehhehe
Put ourself first especially for a women. Women aren't used to putiing their needs ahead of others, but sleep is necessary to health and happiness.
Work and Life
Dump the 24/7 stuff. Even if we manage to drop into bed for the 6 hours our minds are full of what-if's, why-did-we's and what's-on-the agenda-tomorrow's and I used to be like that in previous-previous year. Hehhehe..too many things to thinks.
Dont work so late. We always thought that we have to stay late to get the job done. But working right up until bedtime is bound to affect our sleep. So go home at at reasonable hour. The truth is that it's better to go get some sleep then come back and do more works in the morning. Friends, it's working..I've applied this systems this year. Believe it or not..I managed to finished my tasks within the deadlines.
Food and Drinks
Stick to water, juice, decaffeinated diet soda anything but coffee, hot chocolate or tea within 6 to 10 hours of bed.
Put cookies and milk on our nightstand. The enzim in milk will help us feel sleepy and need some carbs to get it where we want it to go our brains. Cookies are carb of choice. I eat cheese and peanuts biscuits and multidigestive cookies..and I addicted with that cookies..hehehe..somebody help me.
The Bedroom
Buy a new mattress. The mattress to choose is the one that you can try in your home for 30 days. But for some people like me, I rather buy the one which can last a year..hehehe..a bit expensive but worth it. The mattress must be allows us to sink into a deep, natural sleep and wake up in the morning without aches and pains is the one we want.
Cool it and turn down the airconditioner to a few degrees before climb into bed or take a warm shower to relax. Our body temperature goes down after a hot bath in the evening.
Lastly, when wake up in the morning take a 10-15minutes every morning to sit down, close our eyes and give thanks for the blessings in our life. The sense of gratitude we'll experience will set a serene tone for the day and reduce the stress hormones that can trigger the insomnia at night. And at least we can start our day in good mood and leave the argument of life yesterday to history...
So try it.. :-)

Selang beberapa minit kemudian, tiba-tiba hujan turun. Tiba-tiba saja datang ombak besar.

But remember all the gifts that we have pour down from heaven to us. So appreciate it..share it and use it for the good of us and others..

2 1/2 Years Ago..

Here is Manukan Island...I've been there for 2 1/2 years ago..very active bah that time..hehhee.. with my colleagues. We spend time together. We go there by speed boat...they charged RM7 per trip (RM14 for in-out) and boatman will picked you up in a few hours provided you've made an arrangement with them. You can easily look for them at the back of Wisma Merdeka. But now, if you want to go to any island (under Taman-Taman Sabah), you can go direct to the port near to the Kastam in front of the Port View Seafood Restaurants. They have a schedules per day with the rate of charges. Now I believed the fare is doubled since the diesel and petrol hikes. But it is more safety if you let the port arrange for your trips rather than you go and 'smuggle' from unauthorized boatman in order to get the cheaper rates. Nanti kena kidnap and becomes a hostages for a ransom!!! hehehehhee....

what a nice view..this photo taken from the other side of the island. Anyway, this one called a jetty. See the speed boat there...before you reach the main entrance of the island you have to walk along the wooden bridge (emmmm..should we called it bridge?..) then pay the entrance fee...I cannot recalled how much is the fees. All I remember is depending whether you are local or foreign tourist.

View from the club house. This island provide an equipment for scuba diving, sky diving, snorkeling...not FOC arr...they charged the equipment in hourly basis and too expensive but they do have a trainer..for those yang banyak duit..boleh cuba..hahhahaha

The view inside of the restaurants..looks like an open lounge with good sound systems..but what a shamed because most of the waiter and waitress cannot speak well in English..macamana mau promote ni island..haiya!!! bikin malu orang Sabah saja..hehhee
But they do speak well in Tagalog..!!! wakakakkakaa..maybe they are from Pulau Gaya??!!!..joking.

Manukan Island..that is the name. I dont know why they called 'Manukan'. This photo taken from the back side of the beach in the island. Look so calm..angin sepoi-sepoi bahasa, ombak menghempas pantai, laut berirama..hehehehe...I'm not expert in poems..hahahaha.Itu saja yang saya tahu..

So..this is story for 2 1/2 years ago...I will post a new Pulau Manukan in the next next next post..heheeee...cerita lama baru pergi yang baru bah kan..hahahha...

But too bad...I lost most of the beautiful photos of the corals and fishes. I will look for it and post again..will update you later..

I dont know what kind of fish is that..but it look too creepy to me and I almost fall when I took the pictures...if not the fish will laughing hahahhaa..and me become a 'good plankton' to them hehhehehe. Too weird arr..this fish look sleepy or have a romantic eyes...I wish not the same fish we eat during our dinner...nanti kena sumpahan!! hahahha

Will comeback with a 'new Gayana Island' in a next post..

Give Thanks and Get Healthy

Being thankful can be good for our health. Research has shown that people who write lists of things they're grateful for spend more time exercising and sleep better than those whose dont. Gratitude is like putting on a new pair of glasses and we will see things in different way. Like exercises that we make everyday, gratitude has to become a habot of work. And like exercise, its get easier.
Lets try this: keep a journal, pray or meditate (which I always do...hehhehe). Write what you're grateful for on index cards and toss them in a blessings jar to read over when you're blue...or put the jar on the dinner table to spread your gratitude and good health. Keep saying thanks everyday will also make us feel relief and smile..
Lets start it in a morning..the moment you wake up...say 'thank you for this new days..and to thank you to keep me awake to let me experience the story for today'...hehehhe..you think you can do that? it's was so simple to start a day with a little gratitude..remember you can rock a world by saying thank you...
No harm to try friends..which I did and it works..hehehhe

Sikap Dan Panggilan Hidup Kita

Manusia hidup. Manusia menghayati hidupnya.

Stress at Work?

How to Deal with it..maybe this point can help us to manage our stress at work.
Unfortunately, work stress has significant health consequences that range from the relatively benign -- more colds and flus -- to the more serious, heart disease and metabolic syndrome
Because stress at work is so common, finding a low-stress job may be difficult or impossible for many people. A more realistic choice would be to simple adopt more effective strategies to reduce stress at work. Here are some stress management techniques to try.

Start Your Day Off Right
After scrambling to get the kids fed and off to school, dodging traffic and combating road rage and gulping down coffee in lieu of something healthy, many people come in already stressed, and more reactive to stress at work. In fact, you may be surprised by how much more reactive to stress you are when you have a stressful morning. If you start off the day with good nutrition, proper planning, and a positive attitude, you may find the stress of the workplace rolling off your back more easily
Be Clear on Requirements
One of the factors that contribute to job burnout is unclear requirements. If you don’t know exactly what’s expected of you, or if the requirements keep changing with little notice, you may find yourself much more stressed than necessary. If you find yourself falling into the trap of never knowing if what you’re doing is enough, it may help to have a talk with your supervisor and go over expectations, and strategies for meeting them. This can relieve stress for both of you!

Stay Away From Conflict
Because interpersonal conflict takes a toll on your physical and emotional health, and because conflict among co-workers is so difficult to escape, it’s a good idea to avoid conflict at work as much as possible. That means don’t gossip, don’t share too many of your personal opinions about religion and politics, and try to avoid those people at work who don’t work well with others.

Stay Organized
Even if you’re a naturally disorganized person, planning ahead to stay organized can greatly decrease stress at work. Being organized with your time means less rushing in the morning to avoid being late and rushing to get out at the end of the day.

Be Comfortable
Another surprising stressor at work is physical discomfort. You may not notice the stress you experience when you’re in an uncomfortable chair for a few minutes. But if you practically live in that chair when you’re at work, you can have a sore back and be more reactive to stress because of it. Even small things like office noise can be distracting and cause low-grade frustration. Do what you can to ensure that you’re working from a quiet, comfortable and soothing workspace

Forget Multitasking
Multitasking was once heralded as a fantastic way to maximize one’s time and get more done in a day. Then people started realizing that when they had a phone in their ear and were making calculations at the same time, their speed and accuracy (not to mention sanity) suffered. There is a certain kind of frazzled feeling that comes from splitting one’s focus that doesn’t work well for most people.

Walk at Lunch
Many people are feeling ill effects from leading a sedentary lifestyle. One way you can combat that, and manage stress at work at the same time, is to get some exercise during your lunch break and perhaps take short exercise breaks throughout the day. This can help you blow off steam, lift your mood, and get into better shape.

Keep Perfectionism In Check
Being a high achiever can help you feel good about yourself and excel at work. Being a perfectionist, on the other hand, can drive you and the people around you little nuts. Especially in busy, fast-paced jobs, you may not be able to do everything perfectly. But striving to just do your best and then congratulating yourself on the effort is a good strategy. Your results will actually be better (perfectionists tend to stress about little mistakes and sometimes drop the ball because they can’t do things well enough), and you’ll be much less stressed at work

Listen to Music on the Drive Home
Listening to music brings many benefits, and can offer an effective way to relieve stress after work. Combating the stress of a long day at work with your favorite music on the drive home can make you less stressed when you get home, and more prepared to interact with the people in your life.

-Dear friends, stress can be in a form of works, studies, relationship and worst if it is from our inner heart..how you handle your stress? to me...i managed to control my stress through meditating, walking, laughter and watch movies..hehehhe..how about you?

Work Challenges

Study and keep a job at the same time? Maybe here's can help you how to handle the challenges:
Work isn't always going to be easy. Every job offers its challengers like odd hours, demanding customers or bosses, irritating sounds, annoying collegues and etc. Unfortunately, there are more stressful issues that can make having to go to work feel like a job in itself and we call it 'for the job'. But you are able to minimise stress and you may need up enjoying your job that much more.
Challenge: Finding time for homework. Balancing the time you need for schools with the hours
you're paid to work can be tough.
Handle it: If you're feeling overwhelmed, dont panic. Simply speak with your boss and try to
adjust your hours. Remember job come and go, but an education lasts a lifetime
Challenge: Gossiping, rumor-spreading co-workers (girls remember..!! hahaha)
Handle it: You dont want to contribute to the war of the words, so, to put a stop to the chatter,
tell them their behaviour is inappropriate and you wont participate.
Challenge: Sexual harrasment. It can be a touch, a comment or suggestion.
Handle it: Confront the person immediately, if you dont step up, he/she may do it again or do
it to someone else. If the harrasment persists, report it to your supervisor or the
proper authorities. Remember if someone is paying u unwanted or innappropriate
attention, it should not be tolerated.
Challenge: Dating in the workplace (hehehee..). People who work with you may feel
uncomfortable and resent your relationship in the long run.
Handle it: Keep things as queit as possible (even when you talk through intercom..hehehehe)
and keep all flirty business under wraps until you clock out...(wakakakkaaa)
So frens, do you think you can do that? hehehehe

What is happen come with purpose

My fren email me this story..and I really like to share with you all... :-)

A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown.

The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, 'What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money Why did you do it?' The young boy was apologetic. 'Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do,' He pleaded. 'I threw the brick because no one else would stop...' With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car. 'It's my brother, 'he said 'He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up.' Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, 'Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavyfor me.' Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay. 'Thank you and may God bless you,' the grateful child told the stranger.

Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy! Push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home. It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message: 'Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!' God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's our choice to listen or not.

Reflection:If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.He sends you flowers every spring. He sends you a sunrise every morning Face it, friend - He is crazy about you. God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, Sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

{Bah jadi berhati-hati lah di jalan raya...kalau termasuk dalam lubang..cakap saja 'Praise the Lord' because after that kita akan pandai mencintai kereta kita supaya tidak selalu tukar absober dan tayar hehehehehe... :-) }

Ini kah Kita?

Dear frens,

I got this story from other sites which is touch me deeply..how abou you?

Danny and Mercy, a couple, were residing in the first street of Narrow Town. As the name says, so were the streets in the town - too narrow to move about. This made the residents' lives difficult. One could hear shouts and yells from this end to that when people had to take their vehicles or to park. Everyday dawned with tension. One day, Danny and Mercy felt fed up and found impossible to continue in that street. Danny said, "Mercy, its enough! Let us seriously look out for a better shelter." Mercy nodded her head agreeing to him. After hunting for several days, Danny stepped into the house with a smile, "Mercy! Our troubled days have come to end. I have found a beautiful house with a beautiful garden. It's lovely. We are immediately to vacate this house." Mercy's joy was greater and she was excited to see the house.Within a short time, they got engaged in packing things. Danny discarded many things, which to him seemed junk. Mercy hastily went beside Danny and said, "Oh! Danny! Why do you want to throw away all these? We can put all these into a box and have it in our storeroom. It would someday come to use."Danny got a little bit annoyed and looking at Mercy, he said, "Earlier you said the same thing and we had to keep these things in our garage. But it only occupied the room making our life hard. It never came to use. This is the right time. Let us wash out everything once and for all."Now they were in the new house. Everything was arranged perfectly and was beautifully decorated.

Once our heart too was also filled with all kinds of junk like hatred, jealousy, pride etc. which every time posed a problem to us. It made us to loose our peace. But when you give place for Christ in your heart, you have become a new creation, old things have passed away and all things have become new. Like Mercy, we too do not want to give up our anger, our pride, our arrogance, our trickiness, which, we think, may come to our use some day or the other. But they only make our lives miserable. Then it becomes difficult for Christ to live in you.

Your soulmate not feel the same way about you

Have you ever caught yourself doing something with a man/woman that you KNEW was negative, destructive, or even counterproductive to your relationship… but you literally couldn’t help yourself? In a rush of feelings and emotions, you were completely carried away and did something that made him pull away from you temporarily… if not permanently. If so, then there’s something I want you to think about…Tell me… what would you do if you suddenly realized, in one of those intense moments of clarity we get sometimes, that the very thing keeping you from experiencing true and lasting love in your life was your own thoughts, feelings, and behavior? What would you do? Would you know how to quickly move beyond the negative and painful experiences of your past that were partly to blame… so that they didn’t keep coming back to haunt you in the present and future? And would you know how to start living your life in a way that actually PREVENTED these same painful situations from happening to you again, while at the same time becoming EASIER for you to OPEN UP, build TRUST, and share the right relationship with the right man/woman?

It’s that the harder you try to pull love to you, or try and “fix” things in your relationship… the more true love and happiness keeps moving just out of your reach. Maybe you’ve been in a situation like this where you gave up your time with your friends, or with your hobby, and you put all your focus and energy into a man who you thought was special… only to end up getting little or nothing in return when it was all said and done. Or maybe you’ve experienced the frustration of spending your precious time trying to help a man/woman with his/her problems or issues, while putting your own interests aside… only to later discover that it was a complete waste of time and emotional energy…

Well, that’s what I want you to think about it and shared your idea.... :-)

I'm No One: Daily Bread

I'm No One: Daily Bread

Whoever loses his life for my sake will find it (Matthew 16:21-27)What is the most important investment u can make with ur life? Jesus poses some probing questions to challenge our assumptions about what is most profitable and worthwile. In every decision of life we are making ourselves a certain kind of person. The kind of person we are, our character, determines to a large extent the kind of future we will face and live. It is possible that some can gain all the things they set their heart on, only to wake up suddenly and discover that they missed the most important things of all. Of what value are material things if they dont help you gain what truly lasts in eternity. Neither money nor possessions can buy heaven, mend a broken heart, or cheer a lonely person. Jesus asks the questions: What will a person give in exchange for his life? Everything we have is an out-right gift from God. We owe him everything, including our very lives. It's possible to give God our money, but not ourselves, or to give him lip-service, but not our hearts. A true disciple gladly gives up all that he has in exchange for an unending life of joy and happiness with God. God gives without measure. The joy he offers no sadness or loss can diminish. The cross of Christ leads to victory and freedom from sin and death. What is the cross which Jesus Christ commands me to take up each day? When my will crosses with His will, the his will must be done. Are u ready to lose all for Jesus Christ in order to gain all with Jesus Christ?
